HISTORY

Feb. 1967	Established as Kimura Electronics Sales INC. (Private)
Jul. 1969	Established ELCO CO., LTD. by dissolution of Kimura Electronics Sales INC.
Jul. 1973	Head Office and Factory completed at 1-6-43, Kamiakae-machi, Toyama 930-0816, Japan.
Jan. 1979	Introduced QC circle activities.
May. 1982	Introduced TQC (Now changed to TQM).
Apr. 1983	Pointed as Rationalized Minor Enterprises the Model Factory in Toyama.
Jun. 1983	Introduced Policy Management (Long term policy, fixing annual policy).
Mar. 1984	Received Commendation as the excellent minor enterprise from the government.
Apr. 1986	Received Minor Enterprises Study Center prize.
Mar. 1988	Toyota Production System introduce.
Mar. 1989	Tateyama Factory completed.
May. 1990	Established COSEL U.S.A., INC. (Former U.S.ELCO INC.)
Apr. 1992	Changed company name to COSEL CO., LTD. from ELCO CO., LTD. at the same time, V.I (Visual Integration) was introduced.
Jun. 1993	Acquired ISO9001.
Feb. 1994	Set a representative in Europe.
Dec. 1994	Company stock opened to the public at counter of Japan securities company association. Capital increased to 2,055 million Yen.
May. 1995	Set a representative in Hong Kong.
Apr. 1996	Introduced TPM (Total Plant Maintenance).
Jun. 1997	Established COSEL EUROPE GmbH.
Apr. 1998	Established COSEL ASIA LTD.
Dec. 1999	Acquired ISO14001.
May. 2000	Shares listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Nov. 2002	Established COSEL (SHANGHAI) ELECTRONICS CO., LTD.
Feb. 2006	Successfully completed the RoHS Directive conformity.
